What to expect

Sunday Service:

Our Sunday services start promptly at 10:00 AM and usually ends around noon.  A pre-service prayer time at 9:30 in the fireside room, half an our before the service begins, is open to anyone who would like to attend.

We have a worship music set for the first half hour followed by announcements, sometimes a short prayer time and then there is a message by either our pastor, or in some cases, a special guest.

Cell Phones:

Out of respect for those who will be sharing during the service, we ask that you please either turn off your cell phones or set them to vibrate during the service.

Sunday School:

We have a Sunday school class that meets shortly after the worship set ends, around 10:30 AM.  Our teachers are moms and in most cases, their own children are also involved with the class.

You have the freedom to park just about anywhere you like.  We have quite a bit of room at the back and West side of the church as well as on the street in front and on the East side of the building.

The Message:

Whether our pastor or a visiting speaker delivers the message, it will always be appropriate for all ages and will contain a pertininent message for out times.  We are a bible believing church and all the messages that are preached in our church are always based 100% on the Holy Bible.  What Jesus did and continues to do is all that really matters.  Currently, our pastor references the New Living Translation (NLT) during his messages but you are always welcome to use whichever translation you feel you benefit from the most.

Receiving Prayer After The Service:

Our elders, pastors and members of the congretion are always available if you'd like to receive prayer following the Sunday service.  All you have to do is ask.  However, if you require more privacy, please don't hesitate to let us know.

You may offer your tithes any time you like in any manner you choose.  During the service, there are baskets located on each side at the front of the stage.  If you wish, you may use the Interac machine located just outside the sanctuary doors.

Fellowship Outside of the Church Service:

Please see "Groups and Events" on the "Connect With Us" page for more information.

Who Are We?

Our intention is to be an outwardly focused church.

Our vision is to focus on reaching out to the widow, orphan and stranger, to bring healing and restoration.

WIDOW: being a place of solace and safety for widows and the abused and abandoned women of Cranbrook.

ORPHAN: a place of love and support for a fatherless generation and training ground for men on being Godly fathers.

STRANGER: a home for the lost and a friendly face for the lonely.

HEALING AND RESTORATION: MATTHEW 11:5 When asked by John’s disciples if he was the one they waited for Jesus said “The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”

Our Goal

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father

He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Action Plan

Recognizing that God has given Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers we will endeavor to recognize the ministry gifting of each individual in order to release them to apply the strengths God has given them. We will try to refrain from plugging people into jobs for which they have little or no gifting with the excuse that we have a vacancy.
